About SLTP

Service model and commercial control

What is SLTP?

SLTP stands for Spanish Local Technical Partner. It is ITM's local after-sales technical support service for injection molds built by Chinese manufacturers and delivered to Spain or Europe.

Who is SLTP for?

SLTP is designed for Chinese injection mold manufacturers that export molds to Spain or Europe and need local technical support after delivery.

Does SLTP sell molds to the end customer?

No. SLTP is not a mold sales channel, distributor or commercial replacement for the original mold manufacturer.

Will ITM contact my end customer directly?

Only if you authorize it. Our default approach is manufacturer-controlled communication.

Do you work under NDA?

Yes. NDA-based workflows can be used when required for drawings, 3D data, customer information and technical documentation.

Can you work under our brand?

Confidential or white-label execution may be available by agreement in selected Warranty and Partner workflows.

What does white-label support mean here?

It means technical execution can be aligned to your brand or process instructions, while you keep commercial ownership of the account.

Do you only work in Spain?

SLTP is Spain-based. Support outside Spain is subject to prior review and arrangement.

Technical workflow

Case review, execution and responsibility

Do you start work immediately after receiving a complaint?

We can register the case and begin the initial scope review quickly. Diagnosis, engineering, repair, modification or other corrective work starts only after its commercial conditions and scope have been confirmed.

How do China and Spain work together on a repair?

We study viable technical routes with your team. Depending on cost, lead time and risk, your team may manufacture components in China for local fitting and injection validation, or ITM may repair, weld, machine, modify or remake them in Spain.

What kinds of after-sales needs can SLTP assess?

Typical needs include damage, wear, adjustment, bench fitting, spotting, mold try-out, injection validation, troubleshooting, engineering changes, warranty incidents and imported molds that need stabilization.

Do you make warranty decisions for the manufacturer?

No. ITM reports technical findings, while warranty and customer-facing commercial decisions remain under manufacturer control unless agreed otherwise in writing.

What information do you need for a confidential case review?

The first contact only needs mold ID, project reference, issue type, urgency, plant location and a short description. Technical files are exchanged later through an agreed channel.

Who is responsible if the issue comes from design or process conditions?

SLTP can report findings and possible causes. Commercial warranty responsibility remains with the manufacturer unless a separate agreement says otherwise.

Commercial conditions and coordination

Billing, communication and recurring support

Is the hybrid technical study available with On Demand?

Yes. On Demand receives the same joint diagnosis and China-Spain solution study. Diagnosis, engineering and proposal preparation are billed by the hour.

How is diagnosis and engineering billed?

For On Demand, diagnosis and engineering are billed by the hour. Under Warranty and Partner agreements, the diagnostic report and proposal are included within the agreed service fee. Execution costs are approved separately.

What languages do you work in?

The main coordination language is English. Spanish is available locally. Technical meetings can be arranged through Microsoft Teams.

Can ITM join a live diagnostic or try-out by Microsoft Teams?

Yes, when technically useful and permitted by the plant. A live session can support visual checks of blue-fit, mold movement, assembly, dimensions, process conditions and try-out observations. Participants, recording and confidentiality are agreed in advance.

Do you keep spare parts in stock?

Spare parts are reviewed request by request. Recurring component needs can be discussed under Warranty and Partner setups.

Discuss a current case or a future support setup

No active incident is required. Share your European after-sales scenario for a confidential first review.
